The FAQ describes four main stages: Sprout, Seedling, Mature and Wilting. Early plants need condition management, weeding and disease care. Mature plants can be harvested and maintained. A wilting state may mean replacement, although the FAQ also says wilting can serve special purposes such as attracting pollinators. Do not treat every wilting plant as automatically disposable.

Harvests can be directed toward profit or research. Research supports new plant varieties, while crops also become recipe ingredients. The developer says the base game contains around 40 species, but the reviewed sources do not provide a trustworthy current list with every condition and unlock. This page therefore presents no “complete” table.

Onion troubleshooting boundary

Community reports show parsley and onions receiving a “too dim” warning, but the discussion reviewed for this page does not establish the onions’ exact light threshold or complete condition card. Use the general sunlight diagnosis: check the plant’s own condition display, change one variable at a time, and avoid assuming a household lamp is equivalent to an in-game grow light.

A developer reply supplies one narrow onion-specific fact: grow lights and cooling fans clip to larger 4×4 planters, with the onion planter used as the example, and the plant must still be at the smaller-shoot stage. This tells you when the equipment can be attached; it does not reveal the onion’s soil mix, temperature, water or numeric light requirement.

An in-game check on the current 1.0 build is still needed for the onion planter class, soil mix, light range, temperature range, watering behavior, seed unlock and harvest uses. Until then, the page gives a verified system overview, not an onions prescription.
