Do not assume those steps are current. Update #5 reworked the Drone Station and Drone Hub interfaces and updated Drone Care labels. Update #4 fixed drone abilities, harvesting situations and the rooftop Drone Station sequence; Update #3.1 fixed drone interactions with plants. These official changes make old menu paths patch-sensitive.

Safe current triage

  1. Update the game through Update #5 or later.
  2. Confirm the drone is owned rather than merely visible in the shop.
  3. Inspect the current Drone Station, Drone Hub and progression screens for the watering activity and record the exact label.
  4. Check whether watering is acquired, assigned globally, assigned per hub or assigned per planter; do not assume the demo’s per-pot model.
  5. Test on a plant that currently needs water and confirm whether the assignment persists after reopening the interface.

The current acquisition currency/cost, prerequisite, exact screen and control, assignment scope, capacity limits and controller flow still need a post-Update-#5 confirmation. Until then, the older sequence is preserved only as history.
